On Friday, May 29th, 2015, the Arlington Heights Local #3105 will be “Filling the Boot” at the intersections of Arlington Heights/Palatine, Arlington Heights/Golf, NW Hwy/Arlington Heights and Arlington Heights Metra Station in Arlington Heights to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). Later that evening, we are hosting the AHFD MDA Benefit at the House of Music and Entertainment (HOME) in Arlington Heights Home Bar, where we will have live music, a silent auction, and a raffle that is open to the public. In 2014 alone, the Arlington Heights Local #3105 raised a record total of $26,300.00 for MDA and we are looking to raise even more in 2015
As a well-known health organization, MDA works directly in your local community. Individuals who are affected by more than 43 neuromuscular diseases are eligible to receive a vast array of services ranging from specialized health care to summer camp retreats for young adults. MDA’s worldwide research program represents the largest single effort to advance knowledge of neuromuscular diseases and to find cures and treatments for them. Due to the direct contributions of generous individuals and organizations, all MDA services are provided without cost to those we serve.
